The KidsMatter Website is owned and operated by Urros Education Private Limited OPC .

These Terms shall govern and regulate the use of the Website. These Terms shall constitute a binding contract between Urros Education and the Subscriber. In addition to these Terms, if the Subscriber chooses to avail any other services under the Website, such other terms and conditions as applicable to such Services shall be applicable in addition to those provided herein.

The Subscriber is required to go through the Terms and understand the contents provided therein. By choosing to use the website, the Subscriber consents to be bound and consents to abide by these terms for use of the Website. The Subscriber is aware and duly acknowledges that assent communicated electronically, constitutes a binding contract and shall have the same legal effect as if it is personally signed by the Subscriber.

1.           Definitions 

1.1       “Content” means stories in all different formats and categories, like text stories, audio books, poems, images and illustrations, tests, worksheets, vocabulary lists, news and information related content, free or priced content, content submitted by users and licensed by other parties and anything else available on the website.

1.2       “Effective Date” shall mean the date on which the Subscriber assents to the Terms and makes payment of the subscription fees as prescribed under the specific subscription plan; 

1.3       “Services” means illustrating children’s books or any other service that is later added by the company

1.4       “Plan” or “Subscription Plan” shall mean the various subscription options offered by the Urros Education (set out in Section 5 of these Terms or any other special plan offered by Urros in writing) to access the Subscription Website.

1.5  “Platform” means the KidsMatter Platform owned and operated by Urros Education Private Limited OPC.

1.6   “Subscriber” means the person who subscribes to the Plan in line with the Terms of Service set out herein.

1.7  “Terms” means these terms of use governing the use of the Website, including any amendments, substitution or addition to these terms and conditions, as may be made from time to time by Urros Education.

1.8  “Urros Education” shall mean Urros Education private Limited (OPC), a one person company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956/ 2013 and having its registered office at 41/8, 1st Main, 5th Cross, B G Road, Krishna Layout, Hulimavu Bangalore- 560076 (which expression shall, unless it be repugnant to the subject or context thereof, include its successors, representatives and assigns).

1.9  “Subscriber's Materials” shall mean such information or data that the Subscriber may provideat the time of registering or subsequently upon request by Urros Education by posting, uploading, inputting or submitting the same on the Website or otherwise.

1.10  “Subscription Term” means the period of time that a Subscriber may access and use the content placed on the Subscription website;

1.11  “Subscription Website” means that portion of the Website which will be available for access and use only to the Subscriber

1.12  “Website” means the KidsMatter Website, both public as well as subscription website, including any and all information, content, concepts, programs, published materials, electronic documents, files and other technology built-in to the Urros Website with web address www.kidsmatter.in or with such other address as may be notified to the Subscribers from time to time.

2.      Interpretations

2.1       All references to singular include plural and vice versa and the word "includes" should be construed as "without limitation".

2.2       Words purporting any gender include the other gender.

2.3       Reference to any statute, ordinance or other law includes all regulations and other instruments and all consolidations, amendments, re-enactments or replacements for the time being in force.

2.4       All headings, bold typing and italics (if any) have been inserted for convenience of reference only and do not define limit or affect the meaning or interpretation of the Terms.

2.5          The rules of interpretation as set out in the General Clauses Act shall, unless it is repugnantto the subject or context thereof, apply to the Terms as if incorporated herein.

3.       Applicability of terms

These Terms form the contract between the Subscriber and Urros Education. The Subscriber shall be deemed to have unconditionally agreed to comply with the Terms by registering for, accessing, browsing, posting, downloading from or using the Website. The Subscriber shall at all times be bound by these Terms and use of content on the Website shall be strictly in compliances to the conditions stipulated in these Terms.

The Terms will be in addition to and not in derogation of the terms and conditions relating to the use of website, privacy or other service / products offered by Urros Education on the Website.

4.      Subscription

Any person who wishes to access the Content on the Website may do so by choosing from the various Plans offered by Urros Education, provided under Subscription section of the Website. It is hereby clarified that different Plans may provide varied levels of access to the Content and may have different features, benefits associated with it. The Subscriber is required to read and understand the Plans before subscribing them.

Urros Education reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to consider any request for change in subscription Plans. In the event of change in subscription Plan being allowed, the Subscriber will be required to choose a Plan which is equal to or higher than the subscription fee paid under the previous Plan. Urros Education also reserves the right to amend the Plan or alter the benefits under the subscribed Plan by providing prior intimation over email (whether auto generated or otherwise) to the specific Subscriber who is impacted by the change in such Plan.

5.      Subscription Plan

       Benefits & Features

  • No registration fee
  • No trial period
  • Preview – Previews and sample of audiobooks are available. The user is requested to check these previews and henceforth decide on the subscription plan.
  • Stories - We have a collection of short stories which can be read by kids and parents, both. The parents can read these stories to their children. The stories are non-downloadable.
  • AudioBook:  You can listen to the AudioBook online.
  • Download Audiobook - You can also download specific Audiobooks in your phone/tablet/computer to listen to it later.
  • Vocab Sheet: The vocab sheets for stories can be downloaded. These are practice exercises for young readers to be done at home.
  • Write / Submit your Story: Submit your story is a creative writing opportunity and option to practice writing skills. We may or may not provide feedback on all the stories submitted. But, it is for you to keep practising your writing skills and grow into a great writer.
  • Test your Skills: The test is an external test from a reputed organization. You will need to pay separately for the test to that organization. This option is to help facilitate you in testing your skills.
  • Reader Story Illustration: You can get your child’s story illustrated. This illustrated story will be sent through email. You can print it for your use. You will be charged for the illustrations from your account. During the year, we will select a few stories to be displayed on the portal as a reward for our readers. This option is not available as of now. 

You will be billed in Indian rupees.


6.       Fees and Charges 

Details of the applicable fees and charges for specific Plans will be displayed on the Website. The link to the fees and charges section is provided hereunder:


The Subscriber is required to engage discretion in making the decision and is required to raise concerns, if any with respect to the Fees and Charges only prior to registering for a subscription Plan. Any concerns in the period following subscription on the appropriateness of Fees and Charges will not be entertained. Urros Education may at its sole discretion change the fees and charges and will communicate to you any price changes that may impact your subscription plan. Any price changes towards the Subscription plan shall take effect at the start of the next subscription term/ period following the date of the change in price.

7.      Cancellation Policy 

The Subscribers are requested to check the Website and content thoroughly before subscribing and make an informed decision, in a view to reduce the chances of cancellations. If the Subscriberwishes to cancel the Subscription, the Subscriber must notify Urros Education within 7 (Seven) days from signing up/ registration to the Subscription Plan. Urros Education reserves the right to accept or reject the request of the Subscriber for cancellation of Subscription, which shall be final and binding upon the Subscriber. The detailed terms and conditions on cancellation are set out in the cancellation policy set out in www.kidsmatter.in/terms-of-use.

8.    Subscriber’s  Obligations 

The Subscriber agrees to:

  • provide true, accurate, current and complete information about the Subscriber as prompted by the support form;
  • abide by all applicable laws and regulations when using theWebsite ;
  • Not to frame the Websiteor provide a link to a page on the Website without the prior written consent from authorised representatives of Urros Education;
  • Not to transmit through the Website any unlawful, unsolicited, abusive, threatening, obscene or otherwise objectionable material of any kind, or any material that violates the rights of a third party, including but not limited to the intellectual property rights of that party;
  • Not to transmit through the Website any computer viruses, Trojan horses, worms, or other software routine designed to permit unauthorised access to a computer system or to disable, erase or otherwise damage software, hardware or data or cause computer system to become inoperative; and
  • Not to transmit "junk mail", "spam", "chain letters", or distribute unsolicited mass messaging of any nature.
  • Not transfer or assign the account to any other party , without the prior written permission of Urros Education.

9.       User Account, Password, Security 

The Subscriber is required to provide current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form at the time of registering an account with Urros. The Subscriber is allowed to use the Website and the content therein only through the account created specifically for access. If it comes to the notice of Urros that the Subscriber or any person using the Subscriber’s account might have used any other means to gain access to the Website, or has attempted to tamper with the security features or other information on the Website, Urros will have the right to block such Subscriber and Subscriber’s account without any prior written notice.

The Subscriber shall be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account information and shall engage due discretion while sharing the password and other account details to any third party. The Subscriber is also responsible for every activity under the account, whether such an access is gained in an authorised manner or otherwise. The Subscriber shall notify Urros Education immediately, if the account has been used in unauthorised manner or there is a breach of any security feature, or if there is a reason to believe that the account is being used in an unauthorised manner.

The Subscriber shall be solely responsible for all losses incurred as a result of any unauthorised access of the Subscriber’s account or any breach of security. Urros Education will not be liable for any loss, whether direct or indirect that the Subscriber may incur as a result of any such unauthorised access to the Subscriber’s password or account, either with or without Subscriber’s knowledge. The Subscriber shall hold complete responsibility of the use of the Subscriber’s account and will be held liable for losses incurred by Urros Education or another party on account of unauthorised use of the Subscriber’s account or breach of security.

10.          Communications 

The Subscriber consents to communicate and allow communication by Urros Education, through electronic medium and the Subscriber agrees to receive any communication from Urros Education by email or by any other mode of electronic communication or otherwise.  Any information, notice provided through electronic medium shall be considered as regular communication between the parties made in due course.

11.       Rights    


The Subscriber acknowledges that the website, functionalities, and content (including but not limited to all information, data, content, images, text, displays, images, vedio and audio and the design, selection and arrangement thereof) is owned by Urros Education and its authorized Licensor’s and are vested with all intellectual property and proprietary rights, including those of trademark, copyright, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property rights.The Subscriber is not granted any right, title or interest in or to the Website or the contents over the Website. All rights, proprietary and otherwise over Website and the content are reserved by and vested in Urros Education.

The Subscriber is allowed to use the website and the contents shared on the Website solely for personal and non-commercial purposes, in strict compliance with the permitted use set out in the Terms or as otherwise expressly authorised by Urros Education in writing. The Subscriber shall not copy, reproduce, transmit, distribute, license, sell, perform, create a derivative work of such material and information or commercially exploit in any manner, without express prior written permission from the authorised representatives of Urros Education, except in the following instances:

(i)  the Subscriber may store the files that are automatically cached by the Subscriber’s Web browser for display enhancement purposes: (ii) if Urros provide desktop, mobile or other applications for download, the Subscriber is allowed to download a single copy to your computer or mobile device solely for your personal , non-commercial use, provided that the Subscriber agrees to be bound by an applicable end user license agreement for such applications; (iii) if Urros provides any social media features in the future, you may engage in such actions as are allowed by such features.

The Subscriber is expressly restrained from (i) using any illustrations, video, audio clips, written content independently and to the exclusion of the form in which it is originally placed on the Website (ii) deleting, altering the copyright , trademark or any other proprietary notices placed on the materials from the Website; (iii) access the Website or use the contents or the services provided on the Website, either in part or in entirety for any commercial purposes, either acting on his own behalf or for any other (iv) using any logo, design, service name, design , slogans, images etc without the express prior written permission from the authorised representatives of Urros.

12.          Materials Provided To Urros Education 

Urros Education does not claim ownership over Subscriber’s materials, data or information. Urros Education, however has the right to use, publish, copy, transmit the Subscriber’s information provided by the Subscriber, or use it for marketing, providing additional services without any objection from the Subscriber. Further, Urros Education may at its sole discretion remove the Subscriber’s information from its website without any express permission or interference from the Subscriber. 

13.          Confidentialityand Data Protection 

The information collected by Urros on the website from the Subscriber shall be subject to the Privacy Policy. We encourage the Subscribers to read and understand the Privacy Policy:


By using the Website the Subscriber consents to use of data and information shared, as per the Privacy Policy.

The Subscriber shall at all times maintain the confidentiality of Urros Education Confidential Information. For the purposes of these Terms, the term “Confidential Information” means all portions of the Services, including but not limited to, the Subscription website.

14.          Third Party Websites 

The Subscriber shall use reasonable discretion while using or downloading from any third party websites or resources (“Third Party’s website”) provided on the Website.  Urros Education is not liable for the privacy or security of any information that you may share with such Third Party websites. Neither, Urros Education endorses the use of such Website nor makes any warranty or assume legal liability for the products, services provided over such Third Party website.

The Subscriber shall be solely responsible for use of such third party websites, and any loss, damage, costs etc incurred as result of access to or use of such Third Party Website. Urros Education is not associated with any of the Third Party Website and does not assume any responsibility for any failure, disruption of Third Party Website, or any losses, costs or damages that the Subscriber may incur as a result of access to or use of such Third Party Website.

 15.       Warranties

The Subscriber acknowledges that the Services on the Website are provided on a “as is” basis and the Subscriber consents to the use of the Website and the information placed therein at its own risk.  Urros Education does not make any warranties, whether express or implied of any kind with respect to the use and working of the Website or the content put on the Website.

Neither Urros Education nor any person associated with Urros Education make any representation with respect to completeness, security, reliability, quality, accuracy or availability of the Services provided on the Website. Further, neither Urros Education nor any associated person provides any warranty, or makes any representation, whether express or implied, statutory or otherwise on the quality, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of proprietary rights. Further, Urros makes no representation or promise that the Services provided is or will be accurate, reliable, error-free or uninterrupted, or that the services are free from virus, or free from any defects.

Urros Education makes no warranty that the content on the Website will meet the User's specific requirements, or that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error free; nor does Urros Education make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from the use of the Website.

No verbal or written representations, information or advice given by Urros Education or its representatives shall be construed as a warranty or in any way increase the scope of warranty provided in these Terms.

16.       Term and Termination 

The term of Subscription starts from the date the Subscriber registers and makes payment for a specific Subscription Plan. The Subscription period shall be as specified in the specific Subscription plan, unless expressly amended and communicated to the Subscriber by Urros Education.  The Subscription ends on the last day as specified in the Subscription plan, unless renewed for a further period by the Subscriber.

Urros Education reserves the right to terminate or suspend access to all or any portion of the Services for actual or suspected violation of these Terms of Service.  Upon termination, Subscriber will cease to have any further rights to access the Website. Termination will not affect the rights and liabilities of either party that accrued prior to termination.

17.    Liability 

Urros Education shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, (or any comparable category or form of such damages, howsoever characterised in any jurisdiction), including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, use, data or other intangibles, regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise, and even if foreseeable or if such party has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall Urros Education’s aggregate liability for any claims or losses relating to the Services or content provided on the website be in excess of the total subscription fee paid by the Subscriber.

Urros Education accepts no liability for any errors or omissions in content or information contained on the Website.The Subscriber understands that Urros Education is not responsible for secure data transmissions between Urros Education and the Subscriber, including but not limited to the transmission of the payment information such as credit card numbers, etc. Subject to above the section and to the extent permitted by law, Urros Education expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether expressed, or implied, for the security of the data transmission between Urros Education and the Subscriber.

18.      Force Majeure 

Urros Education shall not liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations under these Terms and any such obligations under these Terms shall remain suspended for so long as Urros Education is prevented from doing so by an event of force majeure (which means an event beyond Urros Education reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, labour disputes, acts of God, war, riot, civil action, malicious damage, compliance with any law or governmental order (whether in force at the time these Terms are agreed or at a later date).

19.     Indemnity 

The Subscriber shall fully indemnify defend and hold Urros Education and its offices, directors, employees, suppliers and licensors harmless immediately on demand and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses including reasonable legal fees arising out of any breach of these Terms or any other liabilities arising out of the Subscriber’s use of the Website or the use by any other person accessing the Website using the Subscriber’s account or personal information.

20.     Injunctions 

The breach of confidentiality and proprietary rights of Urros Education under this Agreement may result in irreparable damage, for which monetary compensation may not be adequate. In such an event, Urros Education may opt for injunction to prevent Subscriber from taking any and all acts in violation of those provisions, in addition to any other remedy statutory or otherwise permitted under law or equity.

21.    Copyright Infringement 

Urros Education considers infringement of copyright with severity. The Subscriber may notify Urros Education in writing, through an email addressed to contact@kidsmatter.in if the Subscriber believes that any material accessible on the Website infringes the Subscriber’s copyright or copyright of any other entity or individual. Urrors Education may upon receipt of such communication conduct a detailed examination and based on the findings take suitable action with respect to such information/ content.

22.    Assignment 

Urros Education may at its sole discretion assign or transfer the rights and obligation contained in these Terms to any other party, without prior written notice or intimation to the Subscriber.

23.     Governing Law and Jurisdiction 

The Subscriber agrees that these Terms shall be governed by the laws of India and shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore.

The parties may mutually agree to submit the dispute to be resolved by arbitration.

 24.     Notification of changes

Urros Education has the right to amend or supplement any of the Terms, from time to time, including but not limited to changes in features and functionality, the payment methods, fees etc. Urros Education may communicate the amended Terms by hosting the same on the Website or in any other manner as decided by Urros Education from time to time. The Subscriber shall be responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms including amendments thereto as may be posted on the Website. Unless the Subscribercommunicates his desire to discontinue the Planwithin a period of fifteen (15) days from the date of communication/ uploading of the amended Terms on the Website, he is deemed to have agreed to have unequivocally agreed to those Terms.

25.    Severability

If any of the provisions of the Terms are held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, such provision shall be modified and construed in a manner so as to best accomplish the objectives of the original provisions to the fullest extent allowed by law and the remaining provisions of the Terms shall remain in full force and effect.

26.    Waiver and amendment

In the event Urros Education fails to insists on strict performance of the Subscribers obligations or any of the conditions set out in the Terms herein, or if Urros Education fails to exercise any of its rights or remedies and will not relieve Subscriber from compliance with such obligations.

Further, any waiver by Urros Education of any default or breach will not constitute a waiver of any subsequent default and no waiver by Urros Education of any of the terms and conditions will be effective unless it is expressly waived in writing to the Subscriber.

27.    Complete Understanding

These Terms, along with the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy constitute the sole and entire agreement between the Subscriber and Urros Education with respect to the Services and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, warranties or terms and conditions, both written and oral, with respect to the Services provided herein.

28.    Survival

All provisions relating to proprietary rights, payment of fees, confidentiality, disclaimer of warranties, indemnification, and limitation of liability, shall survive the expiration or earlier termination of the Terms.

29.    Notice 

All notices and other communications to be given to Urros Education shall be in writing and may be sent to contact@kidsmatter.in (if by email) or by certified or registered mail, return receipt requested, with postage prepaid to the registered office address.

Urros Education, may broadcast notices on its Website and inform the changes on the Website by placing such information therein.

Notices or intimation under these Terms shall be deemed to be received: (i) on the date of delivery if delivered personally; (ii) five business days after the excluding the mailing date if sent by registered post, with acknowledgement; (iii) on the same day if transmitted and delivered  through email (iv) three days if such notice is posted on the Website.



Cancellation Policy

The content users are allowed suitable access to the website in order to evaluate the content and the working of the content to their satisfaction prior to making the decision to subscribe to the website. Also, for any questions and concerns on the use of website, the user may directly reach out to our team at kidsmatter.in@gmail.com.

The use of content on this website is allowed on individual download basis, subscription basis and term based subscription basis.  The payment towards the use of content is made per purchase and therefore once the content is purchased from the portal, cancellation or refund of payment for the specific product is not allowed. However, the cancellation of subscription may be made, by raising a cancellation request within 7 (seven) days from the date of registration of subscription.  For considering your request for cancellation of subscription you are required to kindly submit the following details within 7 (seven) days of registration to kidsmatter.in@gmail.com.

  • Username
  • Subscription plan
  • Date of registration on the subscription plan.
  • Written confirmation of cancellation of subscription,
  • Reason for cancellation of subscription.

Upon receipt of the request of cancellation, the kidsmatter team will look into the subscription plan and will communicate its decision on cancellation of your subscription. If the cancellation if approved, and in case there is any balance in the user’s subscription account, such amount will be refunded within a reasonable period of time.

We use our best efforts provide the most satisfying experience to our readers/users. However, if you may have any concerns on the usage, pricing or the content we encourage you to reach out to us at contact@kidsmatter.in, with details of your user name, subscription plan and the concern you have. We will make our best efforts to resolve the concerns you may have within a reasonable timespan.

Rights and obligations following cancellation of subscription:

The users/ subscribers are allowed to use the content on the website for personal and non-commercial purposes during the period of subscription and in the period following cancellation / termination of subscription. Kidsmatter or its licensor, as the case may be, retains the sole and exclusive rights, in all materials and content on the website, including but not limited to written content and material, images, illustrations, audio and video clips.  The content user or subscriber to the website is not assigned or licensed any copyright or trademark or any other right to reproduce the content either in whole or in part, except for the limited use allowed in the terms and conditions of usage.  The content downloaded by the user from the website is solely for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other usage of the content is not allowed. The user is expressly prohibited from copying, reproducing, republishing, uploading, transmitting or distributing the content in physical or electronic medium either during the subscription period or in the period following the cancellation of subscription. The user will be liable for violation of copyrights in the event of any commercial use  of the content or use of content for purposes other than personal use, such as use of the content/ material on any other website, networking computer environment, modification of content or reproduction of content in any other form either through electronic medium or otherwise.

The user/subscriber shall remain liable for any copyright violation of the content and violation of the terms of use policy in the period following cancellation/ termination of subscription. Kidsmatter shall have the right to claim any damages and losses, including but not limited to direct, indirect, consequential damages caused as a result of any violation of copyright by the user/ subscriber during the term of the subscription of in the period following cancellation of subscription.

The refund of balance amount in the subscription account is the only remedy available to the user/subscriber registered with the website, in the event the user/subscriber is not satisfied with the content or the services under the website. .  Kidsmatter, shall in no event to be liable for any other damages or losses, whether direct, indirect, special or incidental of any kind in connection with the content accessed on the website or the services provided under the website.
